Please notice how the Unique Iglesia ni Cristo Architecture evolved over time.

Please notice how the unique Iglesia ni Cristo Architecture evolved over time.

The Tondo and the Cebu City house of worship were constructed almost at the same time as the chapels were dedicated to God in 1967 and 1968 respectively. The Tondo chapel retained the salakot motif and the Cebu chapel does not have it although the chapels are of similar design.  Eventually the salakot motif was abandoned and new and beautiful tower and spire designs came up.

As an ordinary observer it is very hard to explain the Iglesia ni Cristo architecture, but one thing is clear, the Iglesia ni Cristo Chapels designs slowly evolved and consequently acquired a distinct and unique character as any Iglesia ni Cristo observer will know when sees one.
